Greta Energy Limited is a mainstream participant in the growing Indian energy industry and has set up a 15 MW Power Plant (Biomass based). The Plant is on a 25 acre site located at Plot No.A-28, MIDC Growth Centre, Mul, District Chandrapur, Maharashtra State. The Power Plant was successfully commissioned on the 10th of August, 2012 and is feeding power on a regular basis into the Maharashtra State Grid. The Company has sufficient vacant land available at the site and intends to increase the installed capacity presently by evaluating its Phase – 2 expansion plans of setting up a unit of similar capacity.

The Company has a policy committed to a clean and green environment and as part of this initiative, is also contemplating setting up of a plant to manufacture bricks from out of the fly ash generated from the power plant.
